Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam Policy

You may only send email to recipients who have given you permission to contact them — for example by signing up, making a purchase, or otherwise opting in. You must be able to show the source and date of consent for any recipient on request. Purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party lists are strictly prohibited.

You may not use the service to send or facilitate:

• Unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam).
• Phishing, spoofing, malware, or content that impersonates another person or brand.
• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, or content promoting it.
• Sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or violent content, or content exploiting minors.
• Content that violates the law of the sender's or recipient's jurisdiction.

Marketing and bulk messages must include a clear, working unsubscribe mechanism and honour opt-outs promptly. You must not remove, disable, or forge the authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), List-Unsubscribe, or other headers the platform adds, and you must keep accurate From and reply-to addresses on domains you control and have verified.

Because delivery runs over shared infrastructure, one sender's bad list harms everyone. We monitor bounce and spam-complaint rates per account. Sustained hard-bounce rates above 5% or spam-complaint rates above 0.5%, measured over the current billing period once an account has sent at least 50 messages, trigger automatic throttling or suspension. Those are the enforcement ceilings, not targets: the major mailbox providers begin filtering senders at a complaint rate around 0.3%, so keep yours well below that. Keep your lists clean and remove addresses that hard-bounce or complain (the platform also suppresses these automatically).

New accounts and domains may be ramped gradually to establish reputation. Sending must stay within your plan's limits; sudden large spikes may be paused for review. We may set per-account rate limits to protect the platform.

We may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, or terminate an account — with or without notice where deliverability, legal, or security risk requires it. Report suspected abuse of the platform to abuse@kodar.io. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
